· Course Overview: · The course consists of five units taught over one year. Learners will attend college for 4 hours pr week.

Entry Requirements: · An "introduction to counselling" qualification is an essential requirement. This is an advanced course suitable for those with at least 5 GCSEs at grades A-C, or a relevant level 2 qualification such as BTEC First Diploma, GNVQ Intermediate, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent/relevant work experience. Candidates should have some experience in a helping role in a paid or unpaid role. Candidates will need to be aware of the personal responsibilities involved in participating on a counselling course.
