Course description
A level 3 course that covers the spectrum of theory and practice for the care and education of young children. You must have access to paid or voluntary work with children for a minimum of 150 hours over the year.
This award is for those working or wishing to work with under-fives at a supervisory level in pre-schools, playgroups or nurseries. Candidates will develop their pre-school skills and knowledge to the level required as a supervisor, as well as developing their own working practice. On successful completion of the assignments, candidates will achieve qualified status to work with under-fives in supervisory or management roles in pre-schools, playgroups or nurseries and be able to progress to Level 4 CPD, NVQ 4 EYCE or Early Years Foundation Degree.
