This course is suitable for This course is for students who wish to improve on basic skills. The lecturer will take you through three stages: Using resources to develop your dressmaking techniques. Developing and adapting your own ideas creatively. Creating, presenting and reviewing your finished garments. While you're having fun learning alongside your friends, you'll be able to gain a qualification in Level 2.

About this course
Although not essential, it is recommended that you have attended a recreational dress making course or CCEA Level 1 Creative Craft (Dressmaking).
You must also bring with you whatever materials are required for your weekly class.

DRESSMAKING - INTERMEDIATE
Who is this course for?
This course is for students who wish to improve on basic skills. The lecturer will take you through three stages:
- Using resources to develop your dressmaking techniques
- Developing and adapting your own ideas creatively
- Creating, presenting and reviewing your finished garments.
While you're having fun learning alongside your friends, you'll be able to gain a qualification in Level 2 Creative Craft (Dressmaking). This could also be the first step in a new career for someone! We hope to run this course on a Monday evening in Newry. Next year you'll be able to take the Advanced (Level 3) course - available for those who want to progress even further.
