Course Details

This course aims to give students practical knowledge of a range of business skills and a thorough understanding of the key elements within business. Units of study are: Exploring Business Purposes Investigating Financial Control Plus 1 specialist unit: Exploring Business Enterprise

Qualifications required:
4 GCSEs (Grade D or above, including English). Mature applicants will be considered according to previous learning experience. Candidates also need the motivation to succeed and a genuine interest in business. ESOL students must have a minimum of ESOL Level 1.

There are no additional equipment requirements other than standard stationery items.

Progression:
After completion of this course you will have a nationally recognised qualification and can progress on to the EDEXCEL (BTEC) National Award/Certificate in Business.
