Course Details

The course will cover 12 units, including: Fundamentals of Science Using Science in the Workplace Perceptions of Science Working in Science Scientific Investigation Scientific Practical Techniques Maths Medical Physics Industrial Applications of Chemical Reactions Biochemical Techniques Industrial Applications of Organic Chemistry Electric Circuits

Qualifications required:
This qualification is recognised by industry and universities. It is designed for those already working in the industry and those who are seeking work in a science based organisation. Ideally applicants should possess GCSEs (grade C and above) in Science, Maths and English or an Intermediate GNVQ or BTEC First with accompanying GCSEs in Maths and English. Those with industrial experience and qualifications are welcome to apply. Applicants will be invited for an individual interview, with an opportunity to meet the staff and view the facilities.
