Emergency First Aider Course
This course, which replaces First Aid Appointed Persons, teaches students basic lifesaving skills and how to apply these in the workplace. It is ideal for those who want to learn how to act in a safe and effective manner during an emergency.

Course Content:
The course will cover the following topics:

• Priorities
• Equipment
• The First Aider
• Record-keeping
• Emergencies
• Basic life support
• CPR
• Advanced trauma management
• The unconscious casualty
• Wounds and bleeding
• Fractures
• Dislocations
• Soft tissue injuries
• Burns and scalds
• Shock
• Dressings and bandages

Awarding body:
West Kent College, College Certificate

Entry Requirements:
There are no formal entry requirements.

Entry Process:
There is no interview required.
