ENGLISH NOT YOUR FIRST LANGUAGE?
WHY NOT IMPROVE YOUR ENGLISH LANGUAGE SKILLS BY TAKING AN ESOL COURSE WITH US?
There is a wide range of courses at all levels from Elementary to Post-Advanced, part-time and full-time, daytime and evening, at both Abingdon and Witney Campuses.
General English and Skills courses - You can choose from General English courses and Skills courses for people who want to focus on a particular aspect of English; these include Speaking, Grammar, Listening, Reading,Writing and Vocabulary.
Full-time Courses - If you want to study full-time (15 hours per week) we will help you to plan a personal programme focusing on the skills you need. This could be for the whole academic year or for one or two terms (Fast-track option).
Citizenship and English for Work. 'English for Citizenship' is designed both for those who are applying for Citizenship in the near future and for people who would like to find out more about the culture, customs, history and geography of the UK. 'English for Work' - is a general course to help you with all aspects of working in the UK.


Final award
Certificates - You work towards the Cambridge ESOL Skills for Life Certificates in Speaking and Listening, Reading, and Writing. In
addition, you can prepare for any of the Cambridge main suite exams (PET, First Certificate, Advanced Certificate or Proficiency) as well as IELTS.

Additional information
Course fees - Course fees are payable by all students except those in receipt of certain benefits. Many students (including those from the EU) qualify for the home student rate. Otherwise, the overseas fee is payable.When you apply for a course we will ask you to complete a fee assessment questionnaire and provide proof of status. Students attending a General English course will also be expected to buy a coursebook which will be used for the whole year; your teacher will give you details.
