This qualification forms the major part of the Apprenticeship in Countryside and the Environment: please contact the College for further details of the apprenticeship.
Your knowledge and understanding will be assessed in the classroom and your practical skills, developed at College, will be assessed in the workplace. All students will need a work placement in a countryside job for this qualification
What qualifications will I need?
Minimum age 16 years. Interest and enthusiasm. Tetanus protection is recommended. Working role or work placement for at least two days per week for duration of course.

What is involved?
Work based learning with day release to College.
Where will it take me?
Ranger, working on a country estate, working with environmental or wildlife charities.

Suitable warm outdoor clothing. Steel toe'capped boots/shoes. Waterproofs. Sturdy working gloves.
