Developing Your Management Style - developing yourself, managing your own resources, developing the support and trust of others, handling conflict in you own working relations with others.
Recruitment and Selection.
Manging Performance - assess performance and provide feedback, handle poor performance, managing remote workers.
Developing Teams and Individuals - identify development needs and plan development, develop individuals and teams, assess and improve development.

During the course you will be required to deliver a mix of written business reports and assignments plus practical activities such as recruitment interviews, training activities and formal presentations.

How will I learn?

All tutors on the programme have experience in commercial business roles which makes the topics covered relevant to the workplace. Lessons are a series of workshops, taught lessons, external events, practical tasks and guest speakers. You will also be expected to commit to considerable self study during the programme. To support you in this you will be allocated a personal tutor whom you willbe able to contact outside of the taught sessions.

What else might I want to know?

Successful completion can lead to Chartered Manager status.

What can I do afterwards?
