The aims of the course are to enable the learner to use the records available to research their family past and to construct their family tree.

What will you study
The course will cover First Steps, Births Deaths and Marriages, Census returns,Parish Registers, Wills, Newspapers, Armed Service Records, School Records, Parish Records and Immigration/Emigration Records. Teaching will cover lectures, discussion,use of original records and handouts. Participation will be encouraged.
