Two work based learning projects form a large part of the course and prepare students for work in public and private gardens.
Assessment Method
Coursework (written assignments, presentations, case studies, practical reports and portfolios of practical work) as well as written examinations. Work based learning assignments are included in years 1 and 2.
Progression Routes
Successful students can progress onto the BSc (Hons) Landscape Management (Land Use) programme.
Specialist Equipment Needed
Protective clothing and footwear, a horticultural knife and secateurs.
