Content This course is part time over 3 years. It is targeted at people already working in the health or social care field who require a higher qualification, as well as those who wish to pursue a career in these areas. There are 14 modules which include Study Skills, Community Health, Social Policy, Counselling, Physical Health, Health Promotion, Care Values, Care Planning and work based projects. The course takes a practice based and academic approach and students who are not working in the field will be expected to spend up to 6 hours a week in work experience.
