ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants are required to have previous experience of study at beginners level, FLAW programme, or have reached some basic level of knowledge of Italian by other means for example, holidays.


PROGRAMME CONTENT/STRUCTURE
This is an interesting, active and dynamic course designed to develop students skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing in order to further enhance their career, academic skills and general future prospects.

Students will develop their confidence in using Italian in general situations, such as in the work place, on holidays, meeting people and generally giving students the foundations to take the study of Italian to a higher level.

Assessment will be through coursework and examination

PROGRESSION/CAREERS OPPORTUNITIES
Qualifications at GCSE level are the traditional route onto an A Level course, a pass at this level is seen as good indicator of academic ability. Employers value language skills. A language qualification will improve career prospects.
