This course will be of interest to anyone who has completed the Access Diploma in Social Sciences and wishes to progress to full honours degrees such as: BSc Sociology; BSc Psychology Social Work and Nursing. This Certificate will complete the first year of your degree (120 CAT points at Level 1) and will gain direct entry to year two of aligned degrees. Alternatively, the qualification may be. About this course
Students should have achieved three GCSEs from Grades A-C to include English Language and attained a pass in one subject at GCE 'A' level or its equivalent. The Course Director will interview all applicants and evidence of prior experiential learning will be considered.

Who is this course for?
All modules are selected from the social sciences curriculum such as;
Year 1:
Introduction to Sociology, Introduction to Psychology, and Introduction to Research Methods in the Social Sciences.
Year 2:
Contemporary Issues in Sociology and Psychology , Introduction to Social Policy and Administration, and Counselling Psychology.

This course will be of interest to anyone who has completed the Access Diploma in Social Sciences and wishes to progress to full honours degrees such as: BSc Sociology; BSc Psychology Social Work and Nursing.
This Certificate will complete the first year of your degree (120 CAT points at Level 1) and will gain direct entry to year two of aligned degrees. Alternatively, the qualification may be used as a free standing qualification to improve employment opportunities or to enhance promotion prospects. On completion of the course application may be made to an associate year two of a degree programme.
