Course Content

The main content of the course is practical based but also has a high content of theory related to the different therapies. Units studied in 1st year include: Face and Body Electrotherapy, Mangmente and Practics of Facial Therapies, Anatomy and Physiology, Employment Experience 1, Body Massage, Product Knowledge, Grade Unit 1 and Electro Cosmetic Therapy.

Core units studied in 2nd year include: Contemporary Electrotherapy, Employment Experience (2), Life Style Advice for Clients, Graded Unit (2), Preparing a Business Plan, Indian Head Massage and Principles and Practices of Selling.

Entry Requirements
2 Highers or 18 NC Beauty Care Credits or Industrial Experience or have completed HNC Beauty Therapy.

Study Mode
Full-Time and Part-Time.

Progression To
Access to Degree courses at University.

Career Path
Employment within the Beauty Industry, Health Spas, Hotels and Cruise Ships, Leisure Clubs, Self Employed Beauty Therapist, Trainer for a Beauty Company.
