Course description
Equine massage is often used as a rehabilitation treatment for horses recovering from an injury. When competing horses can benefit from pre or post competition massage to keep them supple and relaxed. This practical course demonstrates a range of massage techniques with the opportunity to practice on the college horses. You will also cover basic anatomy and physiology theory.

A mainly practical day learning about the different massage strokes used, reasons and benefits of massaging horses and spending time practicing the massage strokes and stretching techniques demonstrated earlier in the day
