If you have studied hospitality, worked in the industry or are interested in a career in a fast growing, competitive industry, this is the course for you.

The course enables you to develop knowledge of the hospitality industry by studying a number of specialist units and pertinent issues. The course aims to develop your insight into the hospitality industry through theoretical and practical experience. There is an opportunity for an industrial placement.

You will undertake units in: Food and Beverage Service, Food Production, Accommodation Servicing, Financial Control and Accounting, Supervision.

Units will be assessed through practical activities, written and integrated assignments.

Further Study/Employment
After successful completion of this course, the qualification provides the relevant mix of competencies to enable entry to employment, as well as allowing an articulation route to 2nd year HND Hospitality Management study.
