Indian Head Massage is very beneficial for physical & emotional health issues and you will be taught how to massage the back, arms, neck, scalp and face to promote relaxation, improve muscle tension and other stress related problems.

Entry requirements
A good standard of education, with a mature attitude to learning and an interest in Holistic Therapies.

What will I study?
You will study a range of traditional and contemporary massage techniques for the application of Indian Head Massage; Related Anatomy & Physiology; Health, Safety, Security & Employment Standards; Consultation Techniques & Client Care and The Oils which can be used for Skin & Hair.

How will I be assessed?
Practical Skills are assessed on a continual basis in a realistic working environment. You will produce a portfolio of evidence including case studies and assignments. Independent Assessment papers complete the Health & Safety awards.

Career Opportunities & Progression
Indian Head Massage is one of the fastest growing & most versatile of the new therapies and as such can be incorporated into many professional situations such as Hairdressing, Beauty and Holistic centres or as an on-site provision in the work place. It can also lead the leaner into studying many other types of Complementary Therapies.
