About this course
You should check the level of this course to see if it matches your ability. None, but ideally have some minimum cooking skills. Please bring along with you empty containers so that you may take food home with you. Feel free to also to bring an apron, although there will be a limited amount of these at the College for you to borrow.

Course content:
Learn how to cook a few international dishes on this lively, practical and fun course. Each course is independent and based on a particular country or area. These are 4 or 6-week long courses.

Term 2: Italian
Term 3: French
By the end of the courses students should be able to:
- prepare three or four different dishes from the above cuisines
- know cooking techniques and ingredients
- use basic vocabulary in the target language
- learn about the cultural and sociological relevance of the dishes prepared and its background
Course Structure:
Classes typically have about 12 students. You may work in groups, in pair or individually. There is an emphasis on students participation in the class.

You will have access to the kitchen facilities of the centre.

Fee 1: Standard fee;
Fee 2: Aged 60+ years fee
Students in receipt of an income-based benefit pay £20 per course per term.
You will need to bring proof of age and any benefits when you enrol.
You DO NOT have to pay a college registration fee for these courses, but you may have to pay for additional course materials.Materials costs:
