Course content:
These introduction courses are to introduce interested people to the basic skills of BSL, with the possibility of progressing to established Signature (CACDP) courses.

Course Structure:
This course you should be able to conduct a basic conversation with a deaf person using sign language by ask and answer questions. How will I be taught? Group work, demonstration, pair work and practical work.

Assessment:
You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made.
Next step:
Successful students will be able to progress to WMB11 (BSL 1: module 1)

Fee 1: Standard fee;
Fee 2: Aged 60+ years fee
Students in receipt of an income-based benefit pay £20 per course per term.
You will need to bring proof of age and any benefits when you enrol.
You DO NOT have to pay a college registration fee for these courses, but you may have to pay for additional course materials.Materials costs:
