COURSE STRUCTURE AND CONTENT
This course is designed to enable learners to explore the basic techniques, equipment and materials use in the production of photographs. You will have the opportunity to explore both traditional film based photographic methods and the processes involved in digital photography.
Learners will develop their own ideas for photographic work through a combination of demonstrations and practical hands on sessions. Once the basics have been mastered you will be encouraged to create a range of individual photographic images.
ASSESSMENT
Your finished production will be internally assessed. There are no exams.
WHERE COULD THE COURSE LEAD?
This unit, in conjunction with further units can be studied together and once completed lead to a BTEC Award in Interactive use of Media.
