There are no formal entry requirements for this course.

What will I study?
The course will use British Sign Language, you will be able to learn how to communicate with the deaf on a beginners level.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed by your tutor on your work on an ongoing basis. There will be no examinations, just continual support and guidance. You will need to produce a portfolio of your work which will be externally assessed and when satisfactory will be accredited with an OCN qualification.

Career Opportunities & Progression
After successful completion of this course you could progress to the Intermediate stage.

Term 1 - 30 hours (1 session per week, over 10 ? 12 weeks) Term 2 - 30 hours (1 session per week, over 10 ? 12 weeks) Term 3 - 30 hours (1 session per week, over 10 ? 12 weeks)
