Is this course for you
This course will look at sociology within the health and social care context. The course will help students to identify the different layers of sociology. We will then explore 2 or three specific areas such as family, education, crime and deviance, the mass media, welfare and poverty etc in a more detailed way, dependant upon the majority interests of the group. Learners will be required to choose a specific area to research and write a short reflective essay about relevant sociological influences.
