Is this course for you
The course is aimed at who has discovered a passion for Italian food. It's suitable to anybody, beginners or more accomplished. No limitation to age or gender. You will learn about how to prepare from scratch a range of different Italian recipes, gaining the confidence to choose ingredients and prepare new recipes. The course will cover basic recipes such as making fresh pasta, cook a range of antipasti, and prepare risotto and other recipes like pollo alla cacciatora, parmigiana di melanzane and so on. PLEASE NOTE THE COURSE WILL TAKE PLACE AT SAXONGATE LEARNING CENTRE, BASED IN THE CENTRE OF HUNTINGDON.
Additional information
The necessary ingredients for the first lesson will be provided by the tutor and learners will be asked to reimburse the tutor up to £5.00 (money bank). They can expect to pay around £3-8 per week depending on quantities cooked. Students will be supplied with a collection of recipes assembled from the teacher for the occasion (printed cookery book), in which they will find the lists of ingredients, utensils and recipes instruction. Basic equipment is provided by the school kitchen, but students may like to bring their own for familiarity (i.e. knifes, saucepans). However, each week, they will need to bring a tea towel, washing up liquid, disinfectant and containers or dishes to transport their food home.
