Part Time Italian (Intermediate)

Course Description:

Intermediate level and Upper Intermediate level have been combined on this course.

Intermediate
This course is the next step on from the beginner level course and covers further everyday topics such as your house & village or town, meeting people, dealing with visitors, accommodation in hotels & campsites and hobbies & leisure activities. Forms of communication including the telephone, writing formal and informal letters and email are covered, as well as visiting the doctor or chemist and obtaining services at a bank or post office. In addition, the course covers basic grammar which will enable you to talk about the past, the present and the future.

Upper-Intermediate
This course is designed for people who want to develop their language skills to GCSE standard. Topics include everyday activities, personal & social life, the world around us, the world of work and the international world. During the course, the four essential skills of speaking, listening, reading (comprehension) and writing are developed, together with a sound understanding of fundamental grammar.

This is the second module of a three module course.
