Course Content
- Induction to the course
- Health and Safety
- Introduction to the safe handling of knives
- Awareness of different foods and where they come from
- Service and presentation of food
- Basic food hygiene
- Working together as a team
- Making new friends
Equipment and Additional Costs
- There is a cost of £4.00 per class to cover the cost of the ingredients.
- Students will take home the dishes which they have prepared.
- Students need to bring an apron with them, wear shoes that cover the whole foot (not sandals) and a top that covers their arms.
