Is this course for you
This course runs for one day over 1 year. It is a Level 1 course offering a general introduction into brickwork and the construction trade. You will gain skills in bricklaying. It is for those starting out in this trade or those wishing to obtain a more formal level of knowledge and qualification in this subject. You must have good general education at level one and be reasonably fit.

What will you study
This course specialses in developing trowel trades and practical skills involving bricklaying. You will also study Health and Safety, Handling and using Materials, Working Relationships and Key Skills.

How will you be assessed
Assessment will be carried out throughout the course by assignments, end of unit tests, end of course examination and Practical tasks. You will be expected to build portfolios of evidence for Construction and you will need to show good compliance to health and Safety practices throughout the course.

Additional information
You will need to equip yourself with protective footwear and overalls before you start the course. There is an additional £25 material fee.
