Course Content:
This programme guides you to specialist and complex situations. You will be expected to fault find and make corrections as the skilled technician of your trade. This course develops your organisational and people skills and will prepare you for supervisory, team leader and managerial roles. This programme supports employment and Advanced Apprenticeships. This is not an NVQ, it is the underpinning knowledge and skills required to support an NVQ that could be assessed in the workplace. The programme has classroom and workshop practice along with numeracy and communications to support your studies. It is equivalent to "A level" study. You should have employment in the industry relevant to the units being studied in Site Carpentry.

How will I be Assessed? :
This pathway has 6 units, each assessed by a multi-choice exam. A Level 3 multi-choice exam is set at the end of the course. The practical units have tasks that lead to substantial testing of your skills and ability. The numeracy and communication is assessed by portfolio and examinations at an appropriate level to suit your needs.

Entry Requirements:
You will require a Level 2 Construction Diploma or an Intermediate Construction Award in Site Carpentry The aspirations to become a skilled technician in the construction industry
