Course Content

The Interactive Media HNC is an exciting new opportunity for
employers, small businesses, or anyone wanting to set up a small
business. A well-designed website is a crucial asset to any modern enterprise, yet many firms are reluctant to meet the ongoing costs
of web development. This course trains candidates how to design,
build and update websites without going to the expense of hiring outside contractors. It also shows how to design and print promotional material, how to desktop publish, how to incorporate photographs, sound and video content into websites and how to identify and use the computer hardware and software required for all these tasks. From start to finish, the emphasis is on practical, project-based learning. You can develop a high-quality website for your business as part of this course!

A key progression path for Level 4/5 BTEC HNC/HND learners is to the second or third year of a degree or honours degree programme, depending on the match of the BTEC
Higher National units to the degree programme in question. Alternatively, successful candidates can enter employment or undertake further more specialist study.
