In order to successfully achieve the qualification in photography, students must complete a total of two mandatory units, five optional units and five photography units. This course is designed for enthusiastic and committed photographers who want to develop individual approaches and would appreciate the opportunity to work alongside like minded individuals. The course will include some trips away and external activities, some additional costs maybe incurred. The course will extend existing skills offering increasingly more involved processes/levels of competence and will build on previous skills learned. Features of Adobe Photoshop will be explored to enable students to make the best of their photography. Students will document their development though ongoing sketchbook and course work including evidence of written analysis, evaluation and technical notes. Students will need a Digital SLR camera with manual controls. Manual controls can be identified by such letters as A, TV, S, P and M. These are often found on the main dial of your camera.
