Depending on the chosen pathway, some specialised subjects will also be covered to prepare you for progression to higher education.

Course Structure:
This is a credit based course and each piece of coursework or examination you achieve gains you a credit until you reach the required total and have covered the necessary subjects. Many approaches to learning are used including individual and small/large group work. Academic and tutorial support is given throughout the course. The course is divided into two semesters: September to early February and February to end of June

Course resources:
All students have access to our fully equipped state of the art learning centre. This included free internet access.

Assessment:
Students are given a diverse range of assessments, from essay writing, multiple choice tests, presentations, short/medium/long question tests to many other types of assessments.

The fee where stated is an 'INCLUSIVE FEE' for UK/EU students. This fee includes the tuition fee, examination fee and exam board registration fee. You may have to pay extra for materials for the course. If you are under 19 years or you are in receipt of an income related benefit the course and exam fee is FREE. Students aged 60+ years pay 70% of this fee. Students aged 19+ will also have to pay a College Registration Fee of £30 (or £20 if you receive benefit) once per academic year.Materials costs:
Learning centre/library has most resources needed. Stationary for studying is needed.
