About this course

You must provide evidence that you have achieved the NVQ Level 3 in Hair or Beauty before starting this course.
If you want to progress to Lecturing/Assessor positions within the School of Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy you will be required to have an Assessor Award.

NVQ ASSESSOR TRAINING FOR HAIR AND BEAUTY INDUSTRY

Who is this course for?

This is a workshop based course that will have a minimum of 2 days training in college. Assessments take place in our college salons where possible. Units involved include:

A1 Assessing candidates using a range of methods
This enables you to assess NVQ candidates using a range of methods including, written papers, assignments, projects etc

A2 Assess candidates through observation
This enables you to assess NVQ candidates by observing their work, questioning and giving feedback.
