Course Description
This course is intended to be flexible to suit the needs of students pursuing a career in childcare. The course focuses on the care, learning and development of children from 0-16 years. At level 3 there are five mandatory units and four optional units.

Entry Requirements
A Level Two qualification in childcare. Learners are required to be employed in (or working towards) a supervisory position to enrol on this course. Learners will need to provide evidence that they are responsible for overseeing students or other staff in the workplace. It is possible for Students to enrol at regular intervals throughout the year, as this course is offered on a 'roll-on/roll-off' model. Please check with the Course Leader.

Portfolio building and workplace observations.
