Who is this course for?

This course is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge required to carry out Beauty Salon treatments. The following subjects may be covered: Facials; Make-up; Hair Removal; Pedicure and Manicure; Eyelash and Brow Treatments; Skin and Nail Treatments; Health and Safety; Retailing Products and Services; Reception Skills.

You may be assessed through practical demonstration, oral questioning, assignment/project work or on-line assessment. As a trainee beauty therapist you will be required to carry out beauty treatments in a realistic working environment.

Students will also be required to promote all salon services and to bring in their own clients for assessment. Clients are charged a nominal amount for salon treatments.

This is a great course if you want to work on a mobile basis and juggle family life with an exciting career.
