The course is made up of units' or areas of activity in the workplace Mandatory units Unit 1 - Maintain health, safety and security in logistics operations Unit 2 - Develop effective working relationships with colleagues in logistics operations Optional units (example) Unit 4 - Move goods in logistics facilities Unit 5 - Receive goods from deliveries Unit 7 - Maintain the safety and quality of goods Unit 10 - Process orders for dispatch to customers Unit 12 - Dispatch goods for delivery Unit 16 - Audit stock levels and stock records For those who work in the warehousing and storage sector, the NVQ Level 2 Warehousing and Storage will enable candidates to demonstrate the skills they already have, broaden industry knowledge and gain a greater understanding of the part they play in company performance The NVQ Level 2 in Warehousing and Storage is suitable for the employee whose job role involves stock storage, order processing and customer service, or for anyone who is looking to develop their skills in preparation for enhanced career prospects.

Qualifications required:
There are no formal entry requirements and no prior qualifications are required, although the candidate will be asked to take a short literacy and numeracy assessment.

Course length:
Candidates will work at their own pace and as negotiated with the assessor. The qualification is usually completed within twelve months.

Venue:
The Programme is delivered in the candidate's workplace.

Start Date:
The Programme may be started at any time of the year

Course hours:
This is a work-based qualification and the contact hours are negotiated between the Assessor and the Candidate
