NVQ LEVEL 3 IN CHILDREN'S CARE, LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT (CCLD)

Who is this course for?

A NVQ in Children' Care Learning and Development is the recognised qualification for work with children and young people under 16 and their families in a range of settings including schools, nurseries, day care.

Through studying the course students will develop appropriate underpinning knowledge and become professionally competent in the workplace. Candidates are required to provide back-up evidence in the form of verbal and written questions and assignments presented in portfolio format.

The underpinning knowledge will be delivered over the academic year. The length of time taken to complete the practical assessments and produce the portfolio of evidence will depend on individual circumstances. In addition, candidates will be required to gain practical experience in a childcare setting.
