About this course

You will be selected to this programme via an interview and assessment process. You will require a minimum of three GCSEs at grade C or above which must include Mathematics and English, or be willing to work towards this.

Is the course for me?
The programme is designed for you, if you have gained employment in the painting and decorating industry, have supervisory responsibilities within the job role and wish to gain the relevant skills for your chosen occupation.

What will I learn?
You will complete a framework of study this will include: * NVQ Level 3 *(WBR) Work Based Recorder, Portfolio *Advanced Construction Award (Technical Certificate) *Health and Safety - (CSCS) card, *Employment Rights and Responsibilities *Key Skills - Application of Number *Communication Level 2. On completion of the Advanced Apprenticeship, you will achieve a qualification which is recognised in industry as a competent trades person.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed continuous throughout the programme and assessments will consist of a combination of practical assessments, a Job Related Knowledge Assessment and external tests. Work based evidence (in the form of a portfolio) will also be required to complete the framework.

What can I do after the course?
This programme provide you with the essential skills required to work in the Painting and Decorating industry. Entry to HNC/HND qualifications.
