Is this course right for me?

The NVQ is a work-based qualification with flexible start dates. The average duration of the programme is 6 - 10 months. You must be working in a manufacturing environment.

What will I be learning?

The qualification is made up of 6 units; 2 mandatory and 4 optional, tailored to the job role of the candidate.

How will I learn?

All assessments will be carried out in the work place to prove competence, questions to assess knowledge.

The assessor will carry out a skill scan to confirm the qualification is suited to you.

What else might I want to know?

This NVQ is fully funded if you work for a small business (less than 250 staff) or are volunteering to develop relevant skills and meet the Train to Gain criteria.

What can I do afterwards?

Upon achievement you will be awarded an NVQ Level 2 certificated by the E.A.L. You can progress to alternative Level 2 qualifications.
