Part Time Plumbing (NVQ Level 2)

Course Description:
The Apprenticeship framework leads via a Technical Certificate & Key Skills to an NVQ2 qualification in Plumbing. This course is designed for new entrants to the Plumbing Industry. It will provide the practical skills and knowledge to install, commission and maintain modern plumbing and heating systems.

Content
Candidates will be given training in various units which are applicable to the level of qualification. The course will cover both technology and practical work.

Assessment and Progression:
The Technical Certificate assessment is by theory and practical tests. NVQ assessment is carried out in the work place when an assessor will visit to observe students installing plumbing systems.

Progression
On completion of a Technical Certificate candidates may then progress to the NVQ programme.
