What Past Students Say
I found the Pre-Access Course invaluable in many ways. It enables us as individuals to start evaluating our own lives and prepares us for future academic study. I felt all the subjects were relevant to our future study
The Pre-Access course was very beneficial. I applied for an Access to HE last year and failed to get on. I am glad I ended up doing the Pre Access course first as I dont think I would have coped going straight on the Access. The course taught me how to work better in a team and how to manage my time more sufficiently and generally built up my confidence.
The modules were all very interesting. I felt I learnt more in the short time we had in the Pre-Access Course than I had ever done with another college. The teachers were very supportive and patient with us and interesting to listen to. I think that is important for the tutors if they actually want students to learn. Including the things I learnt academically, I think everyone on the course learnt a lot about themselves too. I would recommend the Access course to anyone returning to education after a gap.
Previously I did start the Access course but had to pull out due to falling pregnant with my son. I would advise anyone to do the Pre-Access course before the Access course as it gave me more confidence and self belief. I have thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the learning and gained a great deal of knowledge in every subject. I found the course very enjoyable and the teachers were brilliant. Thank you to everyone.
