Course Description: This course is intended for new or intending teachers/trainers or professional people with a training function in the Post-14 Sector (2009 Life-long Learning Sector).

Successful completion leads to 10 credits Level 4, Credit and Qualification Framework for Wales (CQFW). Endorsed by LLUK Wales (Initial Teacher Training, Life-long Learning Sector).

Course content includes: Preparation; Planning; Teaching and Assessing

Entry Requirements: Applicants must hold an appropriate professional qualification related to their proposed teaching/training area.

Progression/Career Opportunities: Successful candidates can progress to the full PGCE/Cert Ed Programme on condition that they can ensure a minimum of 150 hours of teaching/training experience in the Post 14/Adult sector over the two year period of the course.
