Professional Restaurant Scholarship
Course Description
The course is offered as a partnership between the College and a range of major hospitality employers. It is open to people who want to concentrate on building specialist food and beverage service skills and experience whilst working in the industry in a restaurant environment. The programme concentrates on developing modern and classical service techniques used in the industry. The course is delivered on a one week per month basis, for two years. Students undertake four hours of practical sessions and one hour of theory per day, as well as receiving tuition in key skills such as communication.
For the rest of your time you will be employed in a leading restaurant gaining valuable experience. The employer will pay for your college training (1500).
This highly innovative programme is endorsed by a range of 70 leading UK employers. It is the only course of its kind in the country.
