Reflexology Diploma
This one-year part time intensive course is designed for people wishing to develop their knowledge of complementary therapies and pursue a career in reflexology. Reflexology is a form of treatment based on the belief that the body is dependent upon energy flows, which can be improved through specific massage techniques used on hands and feet. It leads to a nationally recognised qualification awarded by the Vocational Training Charitable Trust (VTCT), one of the largest specialist awarding bodies in the fields of beauty therapy and complementary therapies.

  • Kit/Uniform:
    A uniform is compulsory for this course in accordance with Industry Codes of Practice. The College dress code for this course is a white tunic, navy trousers and flat enclosed black or white shoes. Information on suppliers will be sent out with joining instructions. Please note there is a 34.00 registration fee for this course. If you have completed a course with VTCT in the past you will need to produce your candidate registration number at the first class meeting.

    Entry Requirements:
    Applicants should possess a good standard of literacy and numeracy as well as a relevant qualification in anatomy and physiology or be working towards one. A background in either beauty therapy or the medical profession would be advantageous

    Entry Process:
    Acceptance on the course will be determined by telephone interview.

    Assessment:
    Learners will undertake a formative practical assessment, a final summative exam and a written paper during the course. Home study will be required for case studies and the tutor will set assignments. Learners must cover ranges during home case studies. It will be the responsibility of the learner to provide clients for both case studies and assessments. A final portfolio of work will need to be submitted for proof of competence.
