Description:
Made up of mandatory and optional units covering managing activities, managing people and other resources, managing information and managing quality. You will produce a work portfolio based on evidence with the help of an advisor. The portfolio is then assessed by a Coleg Gwent assessor who will also interview the candidate in the workplace and also City & Guilds.

Progression:
NVQ level 5 in management or the executive diploma in management.

Entry Requirements:
Candidates must be able to demonstrate competence as a manager in the workplace, or demonstrate that such competence has occurred in the recent past.

Part time up to 18 months. Individual work based learning with assessor guidance.
