· Course Overview: · The award is not a care qualification although it does have some units taken from NVQ at level 4, enabling people who need to achieve both a care and management qualification to reduce the assessment burden. This qualification focuses on the task of managing a care service and is the correct choice for managers of care homes. This includes services for older people, people with learning disabilities and people with mental health problems. Some managers achieve one year, others take longer.

Entry Requirements: · A Level 4 course aimed at learners who hold a management responsibility in a health and social care setting and who have a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
