Compulsory modules: Plant propogation; Growing Media and Plant Nutrition Plant Taxonomy, Morphology and Anatomy; Plant Health; Plant Physiology Practical Horticulture One of the following Option Modules: Outdoor Plant Production; Protected Plant Production Planning layout and construction of Ornamental Gardens; Restoring established ornamental gardens Decorative Ornamental Turf; Plant Selection, Establishment and Maintenance; Hardy ornamental Nursery Stock

Method of Assessment

3 modules are assessed by written examinations consisting of short answer questions and structured questions. There is also a compulsory practical examination. Examinations are set and marked by the RHS.
