The teaching, using lectures and case studies, looks at the diverse roles of the rural business administrator and covers the essential records for finance and accounts together with the records required by crop and livestock legislation and assurance schemes.
This qualification is recognised by the Institute of Agricultural Secretaries and Administrators and can be used for Continuing Professional Development for its members.

**It is also possible to attend this course and gain a College Certificate (you will not be required to sit the exam). The course code for this full'cost option is AG123 and the cost is £350**

What qualifications will I need?
Some knowledge of either rural/farming business or administration.

What will I be learning about?
The course consists of four units:
  • Preparation and maintenance of rural business accounts
  • Payroll, legal and management records for rural business staff
  • Legislative, farm assurance and production records for livestock
  • Legislative, farm assurance and production records for crops

Farm secretary, business administrator. Beneficial for a career as a farmer or farm manager.
