Service of Food and Drink: Multi Skills Silver Level (SVQ Level 2)
This dynamic course is designed to help you develop your skills for work in a variety of hospitality contexts. In addition to enhancing your practical skills and customer care training you will receive tuition in IT, Numeracy and Communications. Also embedded into the programme is the REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene qualification and the BIIAB (SCPLH) Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders.
First class tuition and theoretical training is given in all aspects of food and drink preparation and service. Practical activities are delivered in our training restaurant which is open to the public and designed to simulate a realistic restaurant working environment and also in our training kitchens.
Assessment on this course is continuous and delivered in the training environment. There are multiple choice examinations for the REHIS and BIIAB qualifications.
Further Study/Employment
Upon successful completion of this programme you may progress to one of our Gold Level awards or into employment.
