An Advanced Construction Award Site Carpentry certificate is similar in content to the NVQ Level 3 but does not require the on site practical experience. The course is college based and practical skills are taught in a workshop environment.

Method of Assessment

Practical Skills are assessed by phase tests and Underpinning Knowledge by written questions throughout the course together with a short answer externally written examination.
