Who is the programme for? Those who would enjoy a career in the wide-ranging and fulfilling Sports Therapy industry. For example, working for sports clubs/organisations, in exercise and fitness facilities, or setting up their own business.

Entry to the Programme?

How is it assessed? You will be assessed both individually and as a member of a team. There are a number of assessment methods, including practical and research based coursework assignments, delivering presentations, portfolio submissions, examinations, report writing, essays and demonstrations.

Future prospects? The program will provide a platform for entry into the Sport and Exercise Industry, Health Education or Therapy Industry. Upon successful completion of the programme, students could progress onto the BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy programme.

When will the programme start? The programme will start in September 2010

How long will it take? This programme is available as part time study. The full time HND pathway can be completed in two years and the part time HNC pathway can be completed in four years.

What about the Money? St Helens College is committed to providing value for money higher education programmes, therefore programme fees for Honours Degrees and Foundation Degrees for 2010/11 will be 2,100* per year for full time programmes.

Entry Requirements
